ถือว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งข่าวเกมที่น่าสนใจ เมื่อทางค่าย Square Enix ได้ออกมาประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการว่า Final Fantasy XIV จะลงบนแพลตฟอร์ม Xbox Series X/S ในวันที่ 21 มีนาคม 2024 นี้
ก่อนหน้านี้ได้เริ่มมีการทดสอบในช่วง Open Betaไปเมื่อเดือนที่ผ่านมา ทั้งนี้ผู้เล่น Final Fantasy XIV บน Xbox จำเป็นต้องสมัครสมาชิก Xbox Game Pass และเสียค่าสมัครสมาชิกแบบรายเดือนของเกม Final Fantasy XIV ด้วย และถ้าเราเป็นสมาชิก Xbox Game Pass Ultimate อยู่เล้ว สามารถจะได้เข้ารับสิทธิ์เล่นเกม Final Fantasy XIV Starter Edition ได้ฟรี ในระหว่างวันที่ 21 มีนาคม-19 เมษายน 2024 นี้ด้วย
