เปิดตัวภาคหลักของ Super Robot Wars ออกอย่างเป็นทางการซะที ( OG รอกันต่อไป ) หลังจากที่ปล่อยให้แฟนๆ รอคอยกันว่าเมื่อไรจะมีข่าว Super Robot Wars ซะที หลังจากที่ภาค V วางจำหน่ายไปเมื่อต้นปี 2017 จนในที่สุดเมื่อชาวงค่ำวานนี้ก็เปิดตัว Super Robot Wars ภาค X ออกมาสนองนีทให้แฟนๆ ได้ชมกันแล้ว
Super Robot Wars X ภาคนี้จะมี Theme หลักคือต่างโลกหรือโลกแฟนตาซี ที่มีชื่อว่า Al-Warth ทำให้ซีรีส์หุ่นที่จะมาลงในภาคนี้ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นธีมต่างโลกอย่างเห็น ได้ชัด ( มีคนหลงทางเข้ามาในภาคนี้ด้วย ) ซีรีส์หลักธีมต่างโลกที่จะลงในภาคนี้จะมี Aura Battler Dunbine , Nadia , Mashin Hero Wataru , Buddy Complex เป็นต้น วันวางจำหน่ายของ Super Robot Wars X เวอร์ชั่นญี่ปุ่นมีกำหนดการวันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2018 ส่วน เวอร์ชั่นภาษาอังกฤษจะวางจำหน่ายในวันที่ 26 เมษายน 2018 โดยจะลงให้กับเครื่อง PlayStation 4 และ PlayStation Vita
