Bandai Namco ได้มีการประกาศภาคใหม่ของซีรีส์ Super Robot Taisen ออกมาตามโครงการฉลองครบรอบ 25 ปีเกมซีรีส์นี้ในปี 2559 ในชื่อภาคว่า Super Robot Taisen V นั่นเอง โดยเปิดตัวด้วยตัวอย่างแรกของเกม ว่าแล้วก็ไปชมกันได้เลย
