Blizzard ผ่านพ้นกันไปหมาดๆกับงาน Blizzcon 2008 ที่เพิ่งจัดไปเมื่อสุดสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ซ฿งก่อนหน้าจะถึงวันงานไม่นาน ทางค่ายก็ออกประกาศข่าวเล็กๆ แจ้งสเปกของเครื่อง PC สำหรับ World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King ซึ่งรายละอียดนั้นก็เผยออกมาทั้งสองเครื่องคือทั้ง PC และเครื่องไฮโซอย่าง Mac และนี่คือข้อมูลที่ทาง Blizzard แจ้งมาอย่างทางการ
