ด้วยประสิทธิภาพที่ดีของ Microsoft Security Essentials ทำให้ผู้ใช้หลายๆ คนต้องไปหาแอนตี้ไวรัสมาใช้เพิ่มเติม ซึ่งแอนตี้ไวรัสนั้นก็มีด้วยกันหลายเจ้า ซึ่งแต่ละเจ้านั้นก็มีประสิทธิภาพที่ดีต่างกัน (ยกเว้น Baidu ที่ไม่มีเคยประสิทธิภาพ) ทางเว็บไซต์ https://www.av-test.org ก็เลยมาทดสอบเหล่าแอนตี้ไวรัส แล้วนำมาจัดอันดับเพื่อให้ผู้ใช้หลายๆ คนได้ตัดสินใจเลือกใช้กันครับ โดยจะแบ่งเกณฑ์การตัดสินเป็น 3 ส่วนด้วยกันได้แก่ Protection (การป้องกัน), Performance (สมรรถนะ) และ Usability (การใช้งาน) ซึ่งแอนตี้ไวรัสแต่ละตัวมีดีแค่ไหนนั้นมาดูกันเลย
