Haven’t been this excited about a Pokémon game in almost a decade

I really love the stylization of the clouds and water in this game. The sky looks painted in the most beautiful way, and the water in the ocean has that same style to it. I’m very pleased with those background visuals

I’m actually really excited for this. I think this is absolutely a step in the right direction for the Pokémon franchise. I noticed psyduck had 2 special attack animations which is awesome. I’m also loving the new gameplay mechanics. The visuals can use some work though

I like the emphasis on your player being a researcher first and foremost.
It’s a subtle change that fits better with the concept of catching pokemon and exploring the world

Looks like some roguelike elements when battling hard pokemon.. Overall a massive improvement from the yearly Pokémon games!!

Everything about this made me much more excited, but the walking speed is hilarious

They basically turned the safari zone into a whole game.

Not perfect and graphics are a little rough, but this still seems like something I’m gunna enjoy!

The snowy region looks nice but the grasslands seem dull. The ocean feels out of place. The gameplay looks solid though

My skill as a Monster Hunter will help me in evading those “enraged” Pokemon.

man they could have made this game like 10 years ago and it probably would have looked not all too different

Obviously this game is made for the switch, but when you see games like breath of the wild made 5 years ago and what other developers are doing, this just ain’t it chief.

Imagine any other company made this game on all platforms what would it look like?

my biggest issues are the super low res textures and how washed out the colors are
